Vampira (of Ed Wood and TV fame)

(From epegana's collection)

VAMPIRA - SELF-PORTRAIT - SIGNED

Maila Nurmi (better known as the original sexy wasp-waisted vampire inspiration for "Elvira" and "Vampirella", starred in the famous Ed Wood Science Fiction farce "Plan 9 From Outer Space" and as late-nite television hostess") earned money in her later years painting self-portraits.This portrait is approximately 9" x 12" and displays "Vampira" with her head cocked seductively, offering us the viewer, a mysterious frog-green potion. Signed "Vampira" and dated "'93" at the base of the spider-web. Painted in acrylic in fine condition.
